Actions not preserved on pdf exports?!!

I use OG at work. It's almost a great program. I would seriously 
consider buying it, except for one serious flaw:

Actions are not exported in pdf format!

If a link is added to text or shape in OG, it only seems to work in the 
OG environment with the Browse Actions Tool! When exported to pdf this 
actions are lost!!! Why? PDF format supports links and scripts. As it 
seems to be, only users of OG could enjoy a document authored in OG 
with links? I could, of course, edit the exported pdf in something like 
Illustrator, but why would I use OG at all then?

Or am I missing something? -- I hope I am, but there is no documented 
information I could find.
