FWIW, my (limited) AppleScripting skills were not able to get this to 
work. Although I could get a reference to the other layer (as evidenced 
by 'display dialog visibility of otherLayer as string") attempting to 
set the layer property of that graphic to that layer reference caused 
an NSInternalScriptError.
