2.1 beta 1 - cant save alert

hey list, just joined the list out of desperation...

G4 workstation running 10.2.1 Build 6d52

been working on a graffle file all morning, now I cant save it:
"*** [NSCFString uniqueID]: selector not recognized"

so is this work lost? cant save as, this happened right after I printed. I
REALLY don¹t want to have to start over... please help is you can...
