2.0.8/Jaguar slowness with big files

Hi all,

A designer buddy of mine is over playing with Graffle and we're working 
on a site diagram that consists of about 60 elements from the 
Garrett-IA palette on an A2 sheet.  We're hitting lots and lots of 
speed problems with Graffle 2.0.8 - resizing, moving, scrolling, in 
fact almost any operation on the diagram brings up the spinning gumdrop 
of death.

This is on a G4/800 with 1Gb ram, so it's not the hardware :-)  Quartz 
Debug shows a lot of big redraws going on - not sure if that's it, but 
things are awfully, awfully slow.  I've never seen Graffle struggle 
like this, but this is one of the bigger diagrams that I've worked on.

Is this a Jaguar thing or a Graffle thing, and is there anything I can 
do to help it right now?
