align trouble w/ rotated objects

Hi-

Is anyone having trouble with the space function in the align pane 
with objects that have been rotated?

To replicate - make a bunch of ovals, rotate them, and then try to 
space them.  It looks like OG is spacing them based on their 
original, non-rotated width.

I have to have vertical text in the ovals, so if anyone can advise me 
on how to have both, I'd appreciate it.
