coloured text meltdown

Thanks Kevin. I was indeed pressing the Apply button prior to 
observing the effect of the bug - should have mentioned that in my 
bug report.

I assume you mean the colour well at the bottom left, next to the 8 
(or is it 10?) pre-selected colours which are in turn next to the 
apply button? No need for a reply - I will try it again when I get 
the opportunity... and the next beta might be out by then anyway ;-).
