Message-ID: <756A6688-AB10-416A-B02F-39BC424E7F86@dakim.com> One aspect of GTD I've been having trouble with is merging my off- line and on-line lives. I've tried DIY Planner, and the hipster PDA, and nothing really seems to work for me. One key aspect is the lack of backup on a paper-based medium. I spend my working life in front of a single computer, so KinklessGTD works really well for me -- but what about household errands, etc.? One way OmniFocus could help with this is to have excellent support for printing out lists to paper -- to 3x5 cards, letter size, half- letter size (with correct bookletmaking, double-sided) or anything else. Perhaps even with suitable checkboxes for marking things as done and blank lines for adding new items. --John -------------------------------------------------- John Schofield Director, Information Technology Dakim, Inc. 2121 Cloverfield Blvd. Suite 205 Santa Monica, CA 90404 www.dakim.com schof@dakim.com (e-mail) dakimschof (AIM) (310) 566-1355 (direct) (310) 829-1865 (fax) From mlondon at sprynet.com Fri Oct 20 12:43:42 2006 From: mlondon at sprynet.com (Matthew London) Date: Fri Oct 20 12:43:53 2006 Subject: Off-line features In-Reply-To: <20061020190014.6F246F12EF@dynamic-www.omnigroup.com> References: <20061020190014.6F246F12EF@dynamic-www.omnigroup.com> Message-ID: HI, I absolutely agree with John Schofield's comments regarding some useable off-line printing features to make OmniFocus really useful. Every printing solution I have seen for GTD is a kludge, not customizable, and not useful. Omni would get big marks for integrating such functionality. (But please don't let it delay introducing the first beta version !!!) Matthew
