Most "universal" type of video file?

Quicktime/iTunes will be installed on the majority of Windows  
computers that matter.

i.e. it's not installed on my work machine but then Windows Media  
isn't installed either.

I find, as a Mac person, that MOV and MP4 are the easiest to work with.
