it took me a while to even fine a Dashboard widget on 
dilbert.com, hard to see how it "wanted" you to install it ...

assuming your goal is to not miss any Dilbert, i'd try the RSS 
feed -- you'll avoid running Flash and the extra memory used by 
Dashboard
