I think he is saying that the numbers keep getting larger (maybe  
without end?)

in other words, instead of saying

Backing up 1.1GB of 8.9GB ...  1.2GB of 8.9GB .. 1.3GB of  
8.9GB ......... 8.8GB of 8.9GB ... 8.9GB of 8.9GB

it shows what he shows above, with both left and right being the same  
and incrementing at the same time.

Is that right Kevin?
