Noooooo - it exists because there's limited screen sizes. If
everything could be completely exposed then there would be no problem.
It does fix the problem of finding a window hidden under many others,
at least for me.
The idea of having subtle tints for various windows is interesting but
would be a mess for those of us who need neutral color values.
Nevertheless I like the idea and think it would help pick out
different window "families".
