It could always be the top-end model....
Currently, my Core 2 Duo Mini is driving my Optoma HD70 as a
"Display", and it works marvelously.
If a top end model would come available with an HDMI port and a
BluRay drive, I'd buy one.
Perhaps not on Tuesday, but ... hopefully fairly shortly thereafter.

I have no interest in authoring BluRay content (at least not yet),
and for backups, I'd use a disk array, as it's the only thing that
makes sense nowadays.
