Transferring purchased tunes to iPod from a second computer

A friend has her iPod library sync'd with a PC.  She's in a different  
location (out of state) on a different computer (which she authorized  
with iTMS).  She purchased a few tunes on this other computer and  
wants to add them to her iPod without wiping out her current library  
on the iPod.

Is the correct way of doing this simply to connect the iPod to this  
other computer, set the iPod to MANUAL / Disk mode, then drag and drop  
the new tunes?
