we got the C4280 All-in-One with an iMac 24 in December
I spent hours trying to get scanning to work
After perusing the HP site, I saw somewhere that said they would be
updating their drivers for scanning support sometime before the end of
the year (2007)
but, thus far, I can only find a driver dated 07-2007
we selected this particular printer/scanner based on being able to scan
we also figured since it was one of the printers suggested by Apple,
that it would work
I was thinking of returning it since it doesn't work as advertised

It is well documented that HP scanning does not work with Leopard. I,
like others, am waiting for HP to address this problem with an update
to their drivers. Check out the HP website for any news on this. "
