Mail 'Entire Message' disabled [SOLVED]

OK - my startup disk was listed in the Spotlight Privacy tab!
The hits I was getting using the Spotlight menu were from another boot  
disk.
I allowed Spotlight to index my startup disk, and the option enabled  
itself in Mail - didn't even need to restart it!
