Charles, you ignorant slut... (this is a saturday night live reference
added for humor, it's Saturday morning here and what the heck...)
It's not clear to me that it's not a particular hub issue. Lots of
cheap stuff out there that doesn't really meet the specs. This is
certainly true for FireWire hubs in my experience. So while your
expperience shows there are problems it doesn't demonstrate the
solution doesn't work, only that you have not found one . . . given
today's market I can understand why shopping for a hub that works is
an ugly experience.
And I keep forgetting that for things like printers and mice etc that
there is bluetooth instead of usb. I know that's not an issue for you,
it just popped into my head. ouch!
