Well maybe you have been cheated by Apple then because the CPUs are  
_exactly_ the same on the top spec white MB and on the black MB. If  
you have bought the last version, the one that is advertized now:

You have basically paid +$200 for a +40Gb storage capacity... If you  
can afford that I see no reason why similarly careless students could  
not afford the MBA.

If I remember well, when I bought my white MB (June 2006), the specs  
were _exactly_ the same, and besides for the color there was _nothing_  
to justify the extra cost. Except the "cool factor".

Now you have a "cooler" factor for a relatively reasonable price, and  
really, the old MB _do_ look old now. How long will it take before  
campuses are invaded by MBAs ?
