Indeed - my *primary* computer for the past five years has been a 12"  
867 MHz Powerbook.  The portability wins, pure and simple.  I haven't  
upgraded it because it's a workhorse and I haven't been able to  
justify spending the money for an upgrade.  Even now, I'm probably  
going to buy an MBP or an MBA in the next month or so -- but it's more  
because I *want* one than because I really *need* one.

I think for my usage patterns the MBP is more cost-effective than the  
MBA, but it's a very near thing.

If they had introduced a 12" MBP with a matte screen, I would have  
been thrilled.  This is a little less power, a little less mass, and a  
little more style, but it's in the right ballpark.
