Yes, it does.  But in my experience those dongles have to be directly  
connected to the USB port which means you have a choice on the  
Airbook, USB peripherals or Ethernet.

Now, to be sure, the need for a wired connection is pretty rare for  
many people, but the lack of it is enough to make me very hesitant  
about any machine without it.  That said, Matt Johnson said that he's  
seen USB <-> Ethernet dongles that work when connected to a USB Hub,  
so I will defer to him on that.  Whether the Apple one does is  
something we will have to wait and see,
