I'd ask the same question about Adobe. Is it really worth all that  
cash just for Photoshop, InDesign, and a modest number of people who'd  
rather have Freehand?

Flash? Aren't Apple quietly maneuvering WebKit+HTML5+JavaScript+H. 
264+SQLite+... as a plugin-free alternative?
