Background hiliting of text in TextEdit

the tip...)

R.L., it's in the Inspector > Text > More. Once there, you will see  
the second section Background Fills. Play with it, and with the color  
of the text back in Color & Alignment in Inspector > Text > Text.   
That would be Pages.
