I've never seen an issue with viewing angle on my glossy screen. It
may or may not be lower than matte (I wouldn't know), but the viewing
angle is definitely not "low". If you want privacy, you'll want to
buy one of those polarizing screen covers. :-) I code daily on a
glossy screen, and it's great. I much prefer it to my old matte ones.

I'm surprised by that. The consensus among all the Mac users I talk
to leans very heavily pro-glossy.
