Creating an Itunes Plug-n...Visual or none visual?

Hello All,

OS X 10.5.2
iTunes 7.6

I need to create a non visual iTunes plugin that works with ring tones and I
don't see in Xcode where
to setup the project. Or should I be using the visualizer?

Also, is there an SDK, I don't see anything but a "visual iTunes SDK" on
developer.apple.com.

Does anyone have an example?

Does anyone have an article on creating iTunes and iPhoto Plugins?
