Mail and .m4v files

I sent a .m4v file (704k) (exported for apple's handheld device that  
lets us make calls and other things) to myself to test for inline  
playing.

The file plays fine on the calling device - in the calling device's  
mail program, you download attachment and it launches the player.

But, when it's received in Mail (Leopard) on iMac, it doesn't play  
inline.

I thought QT would play the file inline.  Is that no longer supported?
