Leopard, Adobe and other unhappy couples

I migrated my PB to a new MBP, and ID CS3 crashed on take-off every  
time. So I did a complete new install of Leopard and am just now  
trying to install CS3 from scratch, into a new and unused user account.

This will leave me wanting to bring over countless bits and pieces  
from the PB, but certainly not the whole lot at once. I really need a  
program-by-program migration assistant, is there anything that could  
help in this direction?
