How do I get Mail (Tiger 10.4.10,
Mail 2.1.2) to 'reload' addresses and names in display columns?

Hi,
How do I get Mail to reload the names of people I've added to the
address book? I'll have a message which just shows the bare name,
then I'll add it to the address book, open it (it would be nice if
there were an "Add and Open" option - time to write a CMM extension),
and then quite AB. Sometimes, the new name will display (I think
always when NEW mail is comes in). But that still leaves the old
mail that's already there. Doing a Rebuild command on the mailbox
doesn't help. Can I 'vacuum' the SQLite database that Mail uses to
force it to rebuild them like you can with subjects to speed up
searching (and clean out crud and reduce the DB size? If so, is
there a tutorial somewhere that gives the commands to put intio
SQLite? Or is this all fixed in Leopard? (meaning, "upgrade, you
schmuck (overlooking the not-so-seemly original Yiddish
definition) !" :)
Thanks,
Jim
