and many were hoping for bug fixes and improvements given 19+ months  
between iLife 06 and iLife 08 ..

many expected iMovie 08, like the other apps, to show not only bug  
fixes but significant improvements

Yeah, I hope they bring much of what they probably had to leave out  
given iMovie 08 is a completely new app.

I like the direction iMovie 08 is taking us - skimming, easier  
interface, for the most part.

I'll be patient, but I still have to field emails from friends who  
are venting their anger.
