I think some people under-estimate what a huge combinatorial task  
releasing a new version of an operating system and many applications  
is.  Just think of the number of different hardware combinations,  
Apple applications, third-party applications, drivers, configurations  
etc.

Sure Apple and third parties can test a lot of these (the  
predominant) combinations but there is no way they can test every  
particular combination and permutation (not enough time or space).  I  
think it's a miracle that things go as smoothly as they do.

These are very complex non-linear systems.
