I'm not as concerned about "full-length" videos - you can do them in  
iMovie 08 right now.

But features such as fast/slow motion, visual effects, audio effects,  
plugins etc

things we had in iMovie 08 - are gone ..

let's hope they bring them back --
otherwise, it's essentially a forced upgrade to FCExpress -

but I know the folks I'm talking to say they aren't about to do that

Maybe we'll see the features put back in over the next few months.
