Help Downloading & Installing Open Source Program "AutoTrace"

I want to begin a tutorial for the open source typeface design  
software FontForge. I'm not a coupla pages into it and it mentions  
another open source program, AutoTrace. Unlike FontForge, for which  
the version to install on my Macintosh (UNIX, I presume) was easy to  
find and install, the packages I find for AutoTrace are ambiguously  
labeled. Can someone direct me?
