I've been using Logic since it was C-LAB/Notator back on the Atari
1040ST (some time around 1987) - I was a beta tester for their
notation component.
I've gone through the online demos of Logic Studio announced today
and I have to say, it looks like a quantum leap over previous versions.
Also, you might know they've eliminated the dongle -- just a simple
serial number now.
Logic Studio comes with 5 Jam Paks ..
they're normally 99 each
"All the content in the five Jam Pack collections included with the
Studio Sound Library has been professionally redesigned, integrating
Studio Instruments and Studio Effects."
and:
Apple Loops.
"Build beautiful, complex sounds with more than 18,000 royalty-free
Apple Loops, or create your own from any audio file using the
included Apple Loops Utility."
I'm mostly interested in the new interfaces for editing ..
exactly what I've been waiting for.
Main Stage looks cool, too !
At this price point and value, I'll have no problem getting the
majority of my students buying Logic Studio.
