Interesting to know.

I bought the new AE_n shortly after it debuted. I stuck a LaCie 500
Quadra 2d on it. The drive would fall off the network ** A LOT **.
Also, I couldn't do a Finder query (spotlight via Finder search field)
although I could do a Unix find from CLI.

I reported the problems to Apple. They confirmed I wasn't the only
one having this issue. We exchanged email and telephone calls trying
to troubleshoot.

In the end, I said I'd just wait for Leopard.

Thanks for the heads up.
