APE can mess up Leopard upgrade

I might stop using APE if the APE developer says to wait for an update  
before using it in Leopard. I'm not an APE user, so your mileage can  
vary... but really, it seems like a bad idea. Seems both Apple and  
Unsanity say it can hose your Leopard upgrade.
