Hi,
I like Stacks. They work well for my workflow, for I like ad hoc,
messy, and transient collections of files and folders. Previously, I
had a folder on my desktop where I tossed everything I was working on,
downloads included, and currently I use only the downloads folder in
Stacks for that purpose. I really like the recent applications stack.
But then again, I do not expect too much from the Dock, just some
ancillary services to my messy desktop and workflow. If I want static
order, I use my Document folder hierarchical structure, whereas if I
want on the fly order I use Spotlight.
