'shared' in the sidebar

Leopard is supposed to automatically pick up other machines which have  
file sharing turned on and park 'em in the 'Shared' section of the  
Finder sidebar, right? This is supposed to work with Macs and  
WinBoxes, automagically, right?

Around here, Macs show in the sidebar, no problem. WinBoxes show in  
the sidebar, _if I select 'em using the good old 'Connect to Server'  
menuitem from the 'Go' menu. And, as I connect using an IP address,  
they show as an IP, not as a name.

What am I Doing Wrong(tm) why WinBoxes don't show automatically?
