Anyone compiled partimage on Mac OS X Leopard?

No, that's where it REPORTS the error.  You need to find where it  
checks the OS

But, even so, it's likely you'll hit problems.  Best bet, find the  
wiki or web boards or mailing list for the software and ask there.
