I don't know how to do it on the CL either, but I guess its documented
for your IMAP flavour. One of my providers has a web interface for
this. Quite nice too. (This solution is, of course, absolutely no use
for .mac, or gmail.)

Well, if you unsubbed them too, they wouldn't see the folders either.

...almost. There are actually some other IMAP clients that provide
only this level, or even less IMAP support and as you rightly say...
