update currency exchange rates in Calculator under Leopard?

It's done automatically when you launch Calculator, and possibly at  
some timed interval thereafter.[1] (I'd noticed a delay in Calculator  
launch - this is the reason for it.) If you select Convert > Currency…  
you get the sheet that gives you the popup buttons for selecting  
currencies. Underneath it says: "Last Updated: <whenever you opened  
Calculator>". Interestingly, you now also get a disclaimer: "Currency  
exchange provided by Yahoo! Finance. Actual conversion rates may vary."
