Mail SENT not showing sent file?

yes
the one I sent included an AAC 4.3MB audio file, a small JPG .. a  
little bit of text

this appears to be the only one missing -

I sent a test mail to the same address a short time ago and it shows  
up in the SENT folder -
so it doesn't appear to be an address issue

bizarre -
I don't recall this happening in Tiger, but maybe it has

i'm using .Mac SMTP and IMAP
the recipient is on .Mac as well
