Closing the book on Apple's Mac mini

They don't want to fix the graphics because that would cut into iMac
sales. Using a mini, for example, as a poor man's blade is pretty
interesting. The mac mini niche-ness is designed. Heck, Microsoft
uses a lot of the minis to populate a large testing system in a small
space.

So I don't think limited sales is a cause to discontinue the product,
I think it helps Apple make additional sales they wouldn't be able to
get with any of their other machines. The trick is to keep those
additional sales in the designated niches.
