Get your robotics guys to get feedback to their Apple rep and/or to  
Apple somehow.  Maybe make a movie and upload it to YouTube of a  
great robot running on OS X with a mini driving it and lamenting that  
this means you have to move to Windows or something :-)  A little  
viral guerrilla campaign or something

I too am bummed.
