It's really too bad.  It's a very nice form factor for a medium/light  
duty machine.  I would like to see one more update to 1.8/2.0 Ghz  
machines with 1GB of RAM and 120/160GB (or even 80/120); because I  
would buy that mini.

But really, the "Compare Specs" page is all you need to see the  
impending death of the mini.

a 17" iMac at 999 with a 1.83GHz C2D, a 160GB drive, and a 17" screen  
for $400 more than the base mini.

Hard to argue with that logic.  Especially when for double the price  
of the low-end mini you get 2.0Ghz, 1GB RAM, a SuperDrive, and an ATI  
Radeaon X1600. This, more than likely, is my next Mac so I can re- 
retire the G4.
