Thanks, I'm glad to have that, an impressive piece of work. But what  
hoops one has to jump through to compensate Apple's habit of giving  
the same name to a whole pile of different products...

My wife's 15" PB does not seem to support my 2006 23" Cinema Display,  
which works ok with my 17" PB -- that is to say that it did not work  
when I plugged it in to her machine, but perhaps I failed to do  
something that had to be done.

At all events she does not want a larger monitor this morning, so I  
get back to the question tomorrow...
