I need to automate this task ...

A friend of mine has a radio show in Brazil for 30 minutes every  
Sat.  I said I'd try to come up with an automated way to set an iCal  
event to launch site in  Safari and record the 30 minute broadcast  
(which plays in QT via Flip4Mac--  well, it DID play until the QT  
7.1.5 update :-( )  to disk.

I took a quick look at Automator and it doesn't appear on the surface  
that I'm going to be able to do what I want.

Suggestions?
