So if I understand this correctly, my aluminum (aluminium) Powerbook  
G4 1.67 GHz (giga--Mary is correct) should be able to handle larger  
drives connected to the internal ATA bus.  I know it can handle  
larger external drives since I regularly connect my 300 gig secondary  
backup drive and a 100 gig primary backup drive via firewire 800.
