To me it looks like they clicked the Applications folder in the Dock
and it's showing the applications a la the new Stacks in Leopard.
Sometimes it feels like OS X is just a gradual re-implementation of
everything that was in NextStep/OpenStep before it. By this rate, we
will have a tabbed Dock somewhere in the next two iterations of OS X.
