Stacks as Aliases

Yes, I think you did miss something Phil - easy to do, it wasn't very  
clear in the keynote, and its not clear on the Web site how this  
effects folders on the Dock.

I believe the "New Desktop" allows you to drag a collection of things  
onto the Dock and they are then represented as a Stack (new concept  
for the Dock only).

They are not folders or aliases, just like a normal files on the Dock  
are not an aliases. They (Stacks) are just references the Dock app  
keeps to a collection of items.

Now, whether or not folders in the Dock get this new fancy interface  
or not is another thing altogether.  I would guess so though.
