Sure, Safari on personal computer would be useful for developers  
testing apps for iPhone - I think I acknowledged that in a previous  
post.

But that was not what this subthread was about - the question was: is  
that a good enough reason to port Safari to Windows?

Personally, I don't think it is.  I think they ported it for the  
reasons I mentioned earlier - I refer you to them if you're interested.
