mail programs

I've been using Eudora. Yeah, the three pane thing isn't useful to 
me. I continue to use Eudora, altho a few months ago I tried a number 
of clients when I was trying to use Eudora's IMAP support and not 
getting anywhere. I eventually continued to use Eudora for POP (for 
personal mail) and switched to Thunderbird for IMAP (my business 
mail).

A friend recently complained, "My mac mail program seems to miss 
things and then when I use another client they show up for the first 
time (many months old)." He uses Mail. Last week he responded to a 
note I wrote months and months ago, and I asked him about it.

I'll probably try Mail again for Leopard.
