It doesn't complain, I do ;-)

No go with this file. MacLink recognises it, but not WP3.5e. Changing  
file type and creator enabled WP to see it, but it closed the window  
as soon as the file opened.

Yes, the "active Mac font" has to have the characters that are  
normally thrown away, but there's no indication on how to make a font  
active in a file that does not yet exist.

WP used to be excellent, rather like FrameMaker.
